Preview of Episode 1 of Philip K. Dick's ELECTRIC DREAMS Series [Trailer]

By Marina Antunes [09.12.17]

A few weeks back we got our first look at the upcoming Philip K. Dick anthology series "Electric Dreams."

The series, a Channel 4/Amazon co-production, comes to us from Ron Moore, he of "Battlestar Galactica" and more recently "Outlander" fame. The series is being toted a little like "Black Mirror" with each episode being an adaptation of a Philip K. Dick short story and the series taking its title from one of the most famous: "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep."

The first episode in the anthology is titled "The Hood Maker" and stars "Game of Thrones" star Richard Madden as a detective in a world without advanced technology where telepaths are humanity's only method of communication. His telepath partner is played by Holliday Grainger.

The first episode of the 10 episode series airs on Sunday, September 17 at 9PM on Channel 4 and we've got a first look at the episode below.

No news yet on when the series, which will include episodes starring Bryan Cranston, Steve Buscemi, Timothy Spall, Vera Farmiga, Terrence Howard, Anna Paquin, Julia Davis and Jack Reynor, will launch on Amazon.
