Watch Post-Apocalyptic Short KEYS TO THE KINGDOM

By Christopher Webster [04.23.18]

Keys to the Kingdom is a haunting post-apocalyptic short created for the 48 Hour London Sci-Fi Film Festival. A tradition eahc year, entrants are given a creative brief, which includes a Title, a line of Dialogue and a Prop which every film must use in their work.

Gareth Edwards (Monsters, Rogue one) is not only on the Jury this year, but he was a winner of the contest back in 2008 (watch his short here).

"I have always been attracted to stories about the apocalypse," says director Peter Majarich. "There's something about the end times that evokes the imagination. This story explores the idea of memory, and how important they are to our survival."

The film was conceived, shot and edited over one weekend, with a combined total of about 3.5 hours of sleep over a weekend.
