SNOWPIERCER Series Leaves the Station with First Teases

By John Connor [07.19.19]

Set more than seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, TBS's upcoming Snowpiercer series centers on the remnants of humanity, who inhabit a gigantic, perpetually-moving train that circles the globe.

The series is based on, first, the critically acclaimed Bong Joon Ho film, and second, the French graphic novel series "Le Transperceneige" by Jacques Lob, Benjamin Legrand and Jean-Marc Rochette.

During SDCC, TBS released a short but sweet tease of the upcoming series that just basically says the show is coming soon, while the official Snowpiercer series Twitter account released an ad for bug protein bar that people can eat at SDCC.

Who knows when, but here's hoping it's part of their fall line-up.

The series stars Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Mickey Sumner and many others.

More as it comes, folks!

The Bong movie is crap, the graphic novel is good, too bad they chose to base it on the sh*tty movie instead of the graphic novel. The movie is politicized garbage.
