Ethan Hawke is Ex-Con in ADOPT A HIGHWAY [Contest]

By Marina Antunes [12.19.19]

Russ Millings is released from a 21-year prison sentence for a minor crime into a world he doesn't recognize. Adjusting to life as a somewhat-free man is hard but he's scraping by, working as a dishwasher and re-learning how to live on the outside. His hard life gets harder when Russ discovers a baby the dumpster and rather than turning it in, goes on the run.

At first glance, writer/director Logan Marshall-Green's feature film debut - he's better known as the star of The Invitation (a href=http://www.quietearth.us/articles/2015/10/Fantastic-Fest-2015-Review-of-Karyn-Kusamas-THE-INVITATION>review), Devil and Upgrade - Adopt a Highway sounds pretty sentimental and it may well be but Ethan Hawke, who has been at the top of his game over the last few years, stars and that alone is reason enough to give this one a go. And we have the opportunity for you to do just that.

Between now and noon PST on December 23, email us your favourite Ethan Hawke performance and you'll be entered for a chance to win one of three DVD copies of Adopt a Highway. US addresses only. Winners will be randomly selected and contacted via email by Friday, December 27.
