Hollywood Crosses The Rubicon with Harry Potter Reboot

Last week, Warner Brothers and HBO Max - now just MAX - made the internet-breaking announcement that they’ve greenlit a new, 10 season television series based on JK Rowling’s record shattering Harry Potter book series.
The new series will adapt her books faithfully (or so they say, I’ll believe it when I see it) and recast the characters.
Obviously there was an eruption of commentary from every imaginable angle. But for the sake of brevity I’ve boiled the gist of people’s thoughts into four main camps:
